Follow your doctor’s advice.

Eat healthy, don't get fat and pray for luck! Mulatto sounds like a very gullible teenager.. We don't eat cloned animals and gerson??? Please, better hope you never get cancer and decide to try it to cure yourself...
3 :
Look up --->"The Gerson Therapy"<--- hundreds of people have been delivered from Cancer since like the 1800's NATURALLY no medication...no needles...no chemotherapy...but by simply changing their DIET. One thing i know about cancer is that Cancer Cells attack the immune system (breast cancer also)...the F.D.A (Food& Drug Administration) approves all of these uhealthy supplements into our diet and into foods that we eat everyday such as carcinogens, Genetically altered fruits\vegetables, Cloned animals in other words poisinous detrimental foods that cannot possibly be healthy...basically the foods that you eat are most likely the reason you have cancer because of what it consists of that WEAKENS YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM thus making the immune system unable to fight off the cancer cells... so changing your diet can be the most significant change in your life - to the cancer patient.

We just found out that my 30 year old wife has breast cancer

We just found out that my 30 year old wife has breast cancer?
We just found out that my 30 year old wife has breast cancer (biopsy came back). It’s 1.5cm, and the GP doc said it broke the membrane. If this is stage 1, what are the treatment options? How treatable is this?
Cancer - 11 Answers

1 :
It depends on the type of cancer, but treatment starts with surgery, followed with chemotherapy, radiation, or both. The GP should have referred your wife to an oncologist. If not, see that this is done right away. Given your wife's age, it will/should be treated aggressively.
2 :
Treatable. Take your time she's probably had it for several years. Be careful not to be jumped into full scale allopathic treatment by the fear based medical profession! UK- Dr Rosy Daniel - Health Creation US - Hippocrates centre. If your wife goes for a lumpectomy find someone who can do this without removing all armpit lymph nodes. The possible infected lymph node can be picked up with the better treatment options.
3 :
Your only answer will come from the oncologist, radiologist or whichever doctor will be treating her cancer. The good thing is you caught it early before it advanced too far. The ultimate method of treatment will come from the doctor that will be treating her cancer. It could be she can have chemo, radiation, mastectomy or other treatments, but these range from the type of cancer and the stage. I nor anyone here on Y!A will be able to give her a prognosis or decide what her treatment is. I am sorry to hear that she has been diagnosed with this and its a hard pill to swallow. I do wish you luck as she goes through whichever treatment she decides to take.
4 :
Please, I know you are terribly worried and my sympathies out to your wife, but do look up on a reputable website for a prognosis rather than seeking advice on here.,,also why hasn't your GP given you further information. At this stage you need all the help advice and knowledge you can get...and their are few professionals on this site. I do know that if your wife has to lose her breast that the national health will do corrective surgery i.e. in layman's terms a boob job which will give her confidence etc for the future. I do hope everything turns out for the best and as I am not a medical person would not dare to advise you other than what I have said above. Beware of advise on this site though there are some kooks out there. Apologies to all sincere people..but you know the sort I mean. I wish you and you wife a very long health and happy future
5 :
possibly treatable for stage one and stage 2 cancer. maintain a health diet and in addition take an effective supplement for preventing cancer cells like those rich in polyphenols. i know one natural supplement, its 97% polyphenols from pharmanex company. the supplement's name is tegreen97. i suggest your wife try this one becauset here's no harms in trying. it's even featured in newsweek and endorsed by the prostate cancer research institute.you can buy it online and i can assist you. if you want to know more and how add me in your ym id lightandshade0118@yahoo.com or email me on the same address. i'm aileen from philippines. i'm very concerned. please let her try this one.
6 :
Any stage of breast cancer is treatable, and the early stages (1, 2, and even 3) can all be put into long-term remission with proper treatment. This depends entirely on the pathology of the tumor and the exact stage (whether nodes are involved). I'm sorry, it's particularly unfair that a young woman like your wife should have to deal with this. Not that it's fair that any of us do. If you do not have children, and if they recommend chemo, you may want to discuss the possibility of having her eggs harvested for future IVF. Chemo may result in her being unable to have children. Best of luck to you both.
7 :
Hi. To be honest, you sound a bit confused about parts of this. For example, what do you mean by broke the membrane? This isn't breast cancer terminology. If you're saying the tumor margins were not clear, this probably means the cancer may have spread beyond the tumor but not yet reached surrounding lymph nodes. I'm also wondering why a GP doc is interpreting the biopsy for you. In the US, this doesn't happen, so that might be the issue. Other than the general observation that Stage I breast cancers are usually very treatable, no one on here will have the info you seek. If your wife does have bc, at some point she'll see an oncologist and that is who you need to ask.

I was diagnosed with Stage 3B breast cancer on October 26 and I have to disagree with the person that said they will do surgery first. I will tell you my story my tumor is 2 cm not very big at all and I am now just finishing up my chemo because the tumor attached itself to my chest wall and they wanted to see if the chemo would get rid of the little tentacles attaching itself. I will then go thru surgery then 6 weeks radiation. If she is stage 1 it is very treatable!!! :) Even with my Stage 3 my tumor has shrunked by less than half and the treatment options are so advanced. Be very patient while they are figuring out the stage it takes alot to figure it out like size of .tumor, if it has affected the lymphnodes, or if it has spread. Just keep a positive attitude I have been extremely lucky on the sickness part they can manage the side effects very well now. Sometimes there is no radiation especially in Stage 1 they might just remove it and give some chemo. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife especially being so young. I am 33 years old and never thought that I would be dealing with cancer at my age. KEEP POSITIVE!!! that makes all the difference in the world. Keep smiling and be there for her.

Breast Cancer Alternative There are many supplements and remedies, if taken regularly and as recommended, that can give you the immune system of a child. Important, is to know them. This list of supplements can increase your chance of being cured of breast cancer considerably. If prostate cancer is becoming a concern for men, women are not in peace with breast cancer, which dries up the source of joy of thousands of women every year, rich and poor. In fact, breast cancer is not new, although its incidence seems increasing. In the 5th century BC, Atossa, the queen of Persia, had fought in vain against her breast cancer. Tears in her eyes, in excruciating pain, surrounded by family and friends, she had to say goodbye to power and wealth to an endless journey. Despite the progress of medical science, the frequency of breast cancer is increasing every day around the world. He is the most common cancer in women. One woman out of twelve will be affected by breast cancer during her lifetime, according to several medical statistics. The disease becomes so popular to the point that a large majority of women are afraid to undergo a mammogram. Women of all classes feel concerned about breast cancer. Billions of dollars are spent in studies, but the causes are still poorly understood, healing is hypothetical. To increase their chance of being cured of breast cancer, some victims turn to alternative treatments. Either alone or along with the conventional treatment (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hormonotherapy, surgery, etc.) every day more and more women use natural medicine to fight breast cancer. If you are one of them, this article will be an additional weapon in your war against breast cancer. Is there an alternative way to eradicate breast cancer besides chemotherapy and radiotherapy? Immunotherapy - is a type of therapy consists of stimulating the normal defenses (immune reactions) of the body to fight or protect the body against pathogenic attack, including the development of cancer cells. Immunotherapy is not new as many may think; however, in the past, physicians believed that the immune system fought only against bacterial and viral attacks. About 100 years ago, Dr. William Coley has demonstrated that it can cure or control the proliferation of cancer cells by injecting vaccine that strengthens the immune system. However, the theory was not so appreciated by the medical elite. After years of studies, researchers have found that the immune system plays an essential role in protecting the body against cancer. Studies have also shown that patients who have a strong immune system not only more likely to be cured from breast cancer but also to reverse the effects of chemotherapy and radiation. That is, your chance to be healed depending largely on the health of our immune system. How can you boost your immune system naturally? There are many supplements, If taken regularly and as recommended, that can give you the immune system of a child. Some of them include: Lignans - Lignans are non steroidal compounds of the family of phytoestrogens (also known as dietary estrogens) found in large quantities in fruits and vegetables, soy, flaxseed and grains. They have preventive and curative effects on breast cancer, according to new studies conducted by a group of French and German doctors in premenopausal women with breast cancer and healthy premenopausal women. It seems that lignans affect the breast tissue by blocking the synthesis and movement of female hormones, preventing tumor development. The medical elite do not confirm these studies yet; if you are a cancer victim, however, you can increase your lignans intake. Ellagic acid - ellagic acid is a polyphenol antioxidant present in many fruits and vegetables such as raspberries, strawberries, cranberries, walnuts, pecans, grenades, etc. Researchers have found that Ellagic acid may inhibit or slow the development of cancer cells. It is also suggested that ellagic acid can help reduce heart disease, liver problems, and birth defects. However, to get satisfying results, this supplement must be taken with a diet rich in fruits and cruciferous vegetables. Astragalus - Astragalus propinquus (or simply Astragalus) has been used in herbal medicine for centuries to strengthen the body against diseases including but limited to colds, upper respiratory infections, heart disease, lower blood pressure, diabetes, liver problems, and many types of cancer. Astragalus has been shown in medical studies to have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidants, antiviral and diuretic properties. Using it regularly as recommended, Astragalus can not only prevent or eradicate cancer cells, but also a wide range of other ailments. Graviola - also known as sour, Brazilian Paw Paw, Guanbana, Graviola boosts the immune system, reverses some chemotherapy side effects, and enhances the effectiveness of other cancer remedies. Does wearing your bra to bed increase your chances of getting breast cancer

Does wearing your bra to bed increase your chances of getting breast cancer?
I've heard from people sleeping in your bra can cause breast cancer. Is this true?
Cancer - 9 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
no.. bras have nothing to do with nothing
2 :
ummm no it's not true
3 :
no it's all a hoax....breast cancer is hereditary...
4 :
Actually by wearing bra you can cause blood clots in your breast causing permanent breast damage, killing the cells and worse cause it to decompose. In medical terms this is call Bra Induce decomposition syndrome (BIDS)
5 :
Of course not. Why would anyone want to sleep wearing a bra anyway?
6 :
No, that's ridiculous. It doesn't give you cancer, or make your breasts smaller. Myth.
7 :
No, it's nonsense. There are a number of stories circulating about bras and breast cancer - and they are all untrue. You can't get or increase your risk of breast cancer by sleeping in a bra; or by wearing a tight bra, wearing a wired bra, wearing a bra 24/7, not wearing a bra or any of the other nonsense you might hear. Breast cancer, like other cancers, happens when normal cells change so that they behave in an uncontrolled way; your underwear cannot trigger this process or have any effect on it. Have a look at any reputablle breast cancer charity or information site; you won't find bras listed among the risk factors on any of them Do what's comfortable for you
8 :
Wearing bras to bed could cause breast cysts, pain, and cancer. It has to do with the constrictive nature of bras. Compression and constriction of the breast tissue by bras prevents the lymphatic system from cleansing the breast tissue of toxins.
9 :
There is no documented proof of the relationship between bra wearing and breast cancer except that breast cancer rates are highest in countries where bra wearing rates are highest. Logic tells us that wearing tight clothing will reduce blood and lymph flow thru our breasts and thereby decrease health potential. Anyway, why would someone want to wear one to bed? They are supposed to hold your breasts up but don't work at all when horizontal!

Is it true having kids before 30 lowers risk of breast cancer

Is it true having kids before 30 lowers risk of breast cancer?
I have breast cyst, have had a biopsy, however, my breast specialist indicated that my chances of having breast cancer develop would lower if I had a child before the age of 30? I was not ready to start planning to be a mom. Sure I am married, but have a few years to go for school. Has anyone else heard a similar story. p.s. it is the act of breast feeding that changes the breast development, thus avoiding cancer slightly.

1 :
That's what they say, but who knows really...they also say if you don't have kids you can develop Ovarian Cancer as well...I have breast cancer, and I am 43. I don't have any children...maybe they are right.
2 :
The short answer is yes. HOWEVER, risks are probabilities, you may still get breast cancer if you have a child now, or conversely you may not get breast cancer even if you have a child after 30. Furthermore there are other risk factors for breast cancer. [family history, age at menarche, certain prior breast pathologies, breastfeeding, hormone use, menopause age.] One needs to put into context the background risk compared to the excess risk that the factor in question adds to the background risk. [unfortunately i haven't got the figures at hand right now.] The best thing is to speak to your doctor.
3 :
It's true that having children later in life or not having them at all is a breast cancer risk factor; and having children before the age of 30 and breastfeeding both offer a degree of protection against breast cancer. But it's just a risk factor not a cause, and most women who don't have children or who have their first later than 30 don't get breast cancer. A risk factor is simply something that may increase your risk, it isn't a cause. Insurance companies regard 'being male' as a risk factor for having a car crash, but being male doesn't actually cause car crashes. I really don't think you should let worry about something that may never happen change your plans, or stop you starting a family later in life if that's what you want to do.
4 :
I saw a genetics councilor who also told me that having children when your young can lower the risk of breast cancer. I saw the genetics councilor as my mum developed breast cancer at 36, but she had me at 17 and my sister at 20, she's never smoked, has a very healthy diet & is not overweight, she has never been on the contraceptive pill (some say this increases a risk), she has no family history of breast cancer and the tests they did showed it wasn't hormonal. The doctors could never explain why my mum developed breast cancer. I have 2 children that i had at 19 & 21, but i honestly dont believe the theory. I am at a moderate risk of developing breast cancer as my mum developed a very vicious cancer at such a young age. Carry on with your education, dont rush into having children, plan your family when your ready, doctors aren't always right, im sure if every woman had children before 30 and breast fed their babies, there would still be the same breast cancer diagnosis's as there are now.

How can you get breast cancer

How can you get breast cancer?
I'm no doctor or genius with this stuff. I just wanted to know what are some things that women do that can develop breast cancer in them? Do they get it out of the blue by not taking care of themselves (if so, in what ways?) and it just sort of happens, or is there something all women can do to prevent getting it in the 1st place? My overall question is just...how do you get it?
Cancer - 8 Answers

1 :
Birth control pills can contribute to breast cancer.
2 :
here are a few suggestions: store your cell phone in your bra eat a lot of bad food, including burnt food use bleach a lot on your region put pesticide (small amount) on your region inject immune suppressants into your region i hope this helps in your goal!
3 :
Well you have a bigger chance of getting it if someone in your family had Cancer (mother, father, grandmother). Eating healthy, and exercise helps prevent all kinds of Cancer's (and overall keep you more healthy), I think that's the best you can do. Also, it's important to get tested on time (after a certain age every few months go for a checkup) when you catch it fast the chance of recovery is very very high.
4 :
I think no one knows exactly what causes it, you can be very careful with your life and still get it. some people think antiperspirant deodorant is a cause
5 :
Most of the risk factors for breast cancer are not about choices. For example, being an Ashkenazi Jew puts you at higher risk due to a inherited gene mutation. In fact, genetics, either at the basic level or due to the type of breasts you have accounts for much of it. Barring that, yes, prolonged estrogen use (certain types of birth control) raises your risk, not having or breastfeeding children or having them after 30 also raises the risk. So does hormone replacement therapy after menopause. Unlike some other types of cancer, which do pop up out of the blue seemingly, breast cancer has a very well understood list of risk factors. Just as a trivia point, men also get breast cancer, believe it or not.
6 :
Nobody knows exactly what causes breast cancer, but we do know that certain risk factors are linked to the disease. A risk factor is anything that affects a person's chance of getting a disease such as cancer. Different cancers have different risk factors. Some risk factors, such as smoking, drinking, and diet are linked to things a person does. Others, like a person's age, race, or family history, can't be changed. But having a risk factor, or even many, doesn’t mean that a person will get the disease. Although many risk factors may increase your chance of developing breast cancer, it is not yet known exactly how some of these risk factors cause cells to become cancerous. Hormones seem to play a role in many cases of breast cancer, but just how this happens is not fully understood. Some women who have one or more risk factors never get breast cancer. And most women who do get breast cancer don’t have any risk factors. While all women are at risk for breast cancer, the factors listed below can increase a woman’s chances of having the disease. The chance of getting breast cancer goes up as a woman gets older. About 2 out of 3 women with invasive breast cancer are age 55 or older when the cancer is found. Breast cancer risk is higher among women whose close blood relatives have this disease. The relatives can be from either the mother’s or father’s side of the family. Having a mother, sister, or daughter with breast cancer about doubles a woman’s risk. (It's important to note that 70% to 80% of women who get breast cancer do not have a family history of this disease.) Women who began having periods early (before age 12) or who went through the change of life (menopause) after the age of 55 have a slightly increased risk of breast cancer. I hope it help. good luck
7 :
Cancer happens when normal cells change so that they grow in an uncontrolled way. This uncontrolled growth causes a tumour to form. Nobody knows what causes this to happen. Cancer specialists don't know, so nobody here will. It is most certainly not caused by not taking care of yourself. No particular diet or food has been shown to cause, prevent, treat or cure it. I once thought my healthy organic vegan diet would protect me against breast cancer, but it didn't. While nobody knows the cause, there are recognised risk factors for breast cancer, some preventable, some out of your control. Getting older is the biggest risk factor - 80% of those diagnosed with it are over 50. The other risk factors are: Genetic – but only 5-10% of breast cancers are genetic/hereditary Having children at an older age or not at all. The more children a woman has may also slightly lower her risk. Breast-feeding helps protect against the disease. The longer a woman breastfeeds her children, the more she lowers her risk. Starting periods at a younger than average age (under 12) or having a late menopause (after 55) . Taking the contraceptive pill or hormone replacement therapy (HRT) causes a small increase in risk. However, the risk gradually returns to normal after you stop taking them. Being overweight (especially after the menopause). Regularly drinking more than 1 unit of alcohol per day slightly increases the risk of breast cancer. Having a previous diagnosis of breast cancer increases the risk of developing a new cancer in the other breast. Remember these are only risk factors - someone may tick all of these boxes, and never get cancer, and someone with none of them may still get breast cancer. Many people, invariably those who have not had or studied cancer, have a pet theory about what causes cancer. You already have answers putting it down to diet and nonsense like cell phones, deodorants, bleach etc. That's because it's easier for people who haven't had cancer to 'blame the victim' - to put an individual's cancer down to their lifestyle - rather than accept that it is a random, and still mysterious, disease that can strike any of us at any time
