well you can get breast cancer at any age feel the area around the nipple to the base if there is a lump their, take it to you mother and ask if that is normal or hereditary. if its not then you should probably go and get a doctor to take a look at it.

lumpy can be normal and it is unlikely but not impossible to get breast cancer so young. The only way to know for sure is exam, ultrasound and mammogram with a biopsy but the odds are this is totally normal breast tissue.

Lumpy bits are normal in breasts, very normal. You may find they are more lumpy around your period time.

I worked in a breast unit 4 a while and even though i am not an expert, i think the advice u have had so far is sensible, but if in doubt go to the doctors, if they think u need it checked do not panic as they usually only send u on for further tests to b on the safe side. Once you are referred the consultants never see it as a waste of time, they r just pleased they r sending away another patient who is healthy

The chances of breast cancer at your age are just about zero. It's mainly a disease of ageing - 80% of those diagnosed with it are over 50, only around 5% are under 40, 0.1% are under 30 and it's almost unheard of in under 25s. If a 14 year old girl had breast cancer the case would be written up in medical journals worldwide, it would be of such interest to doctors and so unusual. The American Cancer Society and othe cancer organisations recommend that women begin breast self-examination at the age of 20. Most breast lumps aren't cancerous, even in women over 50. Many women have naturally lumpy breasts. Stop worrying; you have no reason to suppose you have breast cancer and what you describe is perfectly norma
