breast cancer

breast cancer?
I have lots of small knots in both of my breasts, but i have a biggish lump in my right breast. So my question is what do lumps (from breast cancer) feel like? (are they moveable? do they hurt? etc.) i know that the small ones are probably normal, but its the biggish one that sorries me, because it has gotten bigger over time.

They can be both mobile and fixed. They are not often painful, but can be. They are hard. There doesn̢۪t that clear everything up for you? Just kidding. It isn̢۪t possible to know on your own. You need to be evaluated by your doctor who will probably order a mammogram or an ultrasound or both to get at look. Most lumps are not cancer and not likely in someone under 40 years old.

I notice from your profile that you're 17. As such the chances of breast cancer are as close to zero as makes almost no difference, and the chances of having it in both breasts are even lower. Breast cancer's all but unheard of in under 20s, fewer than 0.1% of all those diagnosed with it are under 30 and only 5% are under 40. Most (80%) are over 50. And, even in women over 50, most breast lumps aren't cancer. And most cancerous breast lumps aren't painful - most people diagnosed with breast cancer have felt no pain. Breasts are pretty lumpy things anyway, and if you examine them with your fingertips you'll always find lumps
